At SkyBiometry UAB (company code: 302887397, address: Laisvės pr. 125A, Vilnius, Lithuania, email: info@skybiometry.com) and its affiliated entities we take User privacy and personal data protection very seriously. In this Privacy Policy we set data protection standards and describe how information from User (“User”) is collected, used, maintained and disclosed by SkyBiometry. This privacy policy applies to the Skybiometry.com website (“Site”) and all software products and related services offered by SkyBiometry. The aim of this Privacy Policy is to provide adequate and consistent safeguards for the handling personal data of potential client’s and existing clients’ data within SkyBiometry and its affiliated entities in accordance with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, “GDPR”) and other applicable data protection laws.

Collection and storage of personal information

We may collect personally-identifying information, including the IP address and other internet server provider related information, when User:

  • Visits the Site.
  • Registers on the Site.
  • Fills a form.
  • Subscribes for a newsletter.
  • Makes other activities connected to the Site, to SkyBiometry software products and cloud services.

Please note that the photos that User submits to SkyBiometry may be processed to allow unique identification or authentication of a person in the photo, but only if such processing is necessary to provide requested services.

User may visit the Site anonymously and refuse to provide personal information when asked, however, this may prevent User from using certain Site and services as well as evaluating services and software products provided by SkyBiometry.

To take advantage of the right to be forgotten User must contact us with a request to delete his or her account and related personal data from our servers. Once account is deleted, we will erase all personal data User has provided to us.

If any personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, User may request to correct the data. It is User’s sole responsibility to provide us with accurate personal data about him or her and to inform of any changes.

If User demonstrates that the purpose for which the data is being processed is no longer legal or appropriate, the data will be deleted, unless the law requires otherwise.

If User’s personal data processing for a particular purpose is based on his/her consent, then User has the right to revoke his/her consent for such processing at any time and we will stop the processing of his/her personal data for such purpose immediately. The User has the right to request and get his/her personal data processed by us in computer readable format.

We will respond free of charge to Users’ requests regarding their personal data processing without undue delay at latest within one month. We may reject such request if they will be considered unfounded or excessive, in which case we will provide rejection arguments.
